Most important tip for a healthy body is to have healthy food and eat them at proper time. Avoid eating junk food. None of the nutrients are available in these junks foods so no point in having them. Your diet should contain food which has more nutrients. Try to include leafy vegetables, fresh vegetables, fruits, milk, and fish in your daily diet. Fitness can be defined as the physical ability to perform work, sports etc with ease. While health is a condition in which the body should have resistance capacity from all illness and all parts of the body should works fine without any problem. Your body should possess both fitness as well as health. Men and ladies are equally concerned about your body. They want their body to be fit and healthy. Health can be maintained by proper diet, exercise and hygiene. But in the other case to keep your body you need to do proper exercise. Usually sports people will have a fit body. They shape their body in such a way that it will be fit for their respective sport. But coming to healthy body it is just a matter of controlling weight and making your body immune to diseases. Some people will try to make their body fit so vigorously that they will not think about their diet and health. This creates a problem. So always make sure your body to be healthy and fit. Compared to healthy body, fit body needs more exercise and diet. For a healthy and fit body walking is very good exercise which helps in burning the excess fat in your body. A fit body doesnà ¯Ã‚ ¿Ã‚ ½t mean that it should look good from outside. A fit and healthy body should be physically active and energetic and smart enough to accept any tasks given to them. Athletic training This is a program followed by athletes to make their body ready for the respective sport that they are going to perform. Training is mainly conducted by certified professional. Most of the certified trainers are having a master degree. Athletic trainers have got a very important role in taking care of the injured athletes. Quick emergency and reviews of the injured athletes are done by these trainers. They also provide an important communication link between the bruised athlete, his family, his coach and his family and will help them to decide when the athlete should be ready for his next practice session or competition. Never compare athletic training with personal training. Both have got vast differences. Athletic trainers can be seen at places where people with more physical activities are available. Athletic training services are available in Schools, clinics, Hospitals, workplaces. Athletic training is a profession that has got wide variety of career opportunities. Yearly the demand for the profession is growing. They can work in High schools as well in college levels to help the students who got injured during any practice or competition. They have got opportunities in Sports health clinic and also in Health care departments of many companies. In these companies they provide service to the employees who have got any bruises or injuries. They have opportunities in armed forces as well. These foods are not going to give any nutrients to your body. Better stick on to a diet which includes fresh vegetables, fruits, fish and Dairy Products such as milk. Limited number of dried fruits can be included in your diet. Reduce intake of foods which are more salty and food with more sugar. Too much sugar and salt is bad for health. Have food at proper timings .Try not skip any meals. If you dont feel hungry also eat something but dont skip the meals. Avoid all the bad habits like smoking, drinking, using drugs etc. This will make your health more badly. Try to manage your stress by walking in beach or watching any sport channel or by listening to music or anything that makes you relaxed. Keep your hands clean regularly because many diseases can attack your body though you hands. Try to maintain good hygiene which will keep all the sickness away from your body. Do a regular body as well as dental checkups. Maintain your healthy weight and make sure it is under control. Above given tips can help you to have a fit and healthy body. But most important is self determination. If you possess self determination then definitely you can achieve a healthy and fit body. How Can Regular Exercise Keep You Healthy Both nutrition and exercise play a very vital role in the amount of fat stored in the body. All types of exercise will not reduce your body fat. For reducing body fat, first try to increase the duration of exercise rather than decreasing the level of food intake. Studies have proved that there is a significant relation between lack of physical activity and fat build up. Just by being more active generally such as ascending stairs instead of taking the lift, moving in the office instead of sitting still in front of our desktop as well as showing some enthusiasm instead of boredom, are all various means to burn calories and reducing body fat. It seems everyone have forgotten the value of being active. Dieting without exercising will result in getting fatter. One should increase his/her metabolism by exercising regularly to avoid getting fat. The easiest exercise for strengthening your bones, controlling weight, leg muscles toning and improving self esteem is walking. It is advisable to walk at a moderate pace. Walking at high speeds every alternate day will help improve ones system. Walking aimlessly for per hour day will not be effective at all. Exercise and diet are linked to each other when it comes to good health and weight loss. Better than maintaining a balanced diet without exercise, it is better to exercise without dieting. Performing sit ups and crunches alone, the fat in your body will not transform to muscles. You have to do many other activities like active sports, running, cycling that help get rid of excess body fat as it burn lots of calories. Running at full vigor burns more calories than walking at brisk pace. It is very important that you keep in mind to lose body fat; burn more calories and eat less. More calories can be burnt and you can attain your goal quicker if you focus on exercising harder.

He handles it pretty well until on e day when he was being jumped by the Socs he spit on one of them that started a brawl that escalated into a murder. Ponyboy has a good relationship with Johnny. Johnny saved Ponyboy's life by killing a Soc when the Soc was drowning Ponyboy. Ponyboy and Johnny have to hide out in an old abandoned church together. They were best friends. Johnny's last words to Ponyboy were "Stay gold, Ponyboy. Stay gold_" This says that Johnny thought that Ponyboy was a great person, and that he wanted him to stay a wonderful and great person. The conflict in this story is man vs. man. Ponyboy was born a greaser, he did not choose to be a greaser. He had no control of this but the Socs did not care.

Comparing Marriage in Eveline and The Bride Comes to Yellow Sky :: comparison compare contrast essays

Comparing Marriage in Eveline and The Bride Comes to Yellow Sky  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   At times, a marriage may be motivated by feelings other than romantic love. Themes of alternative motivations for marriage are explored in the literary works, "Eveline" and "The Bride Comes to Yellow Sky". Also, in each of these stories, the decisions of a principle character is greatly influenced, by the opinions of others concerning marriage.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Sometimes people do not marry to be with one that they love, instead, they marry to flee a place or a person that they dislike. At the age of nineteen, Eveline consented to marry Frank to get away from her job at the Stores and her father.   She thought her comrades at the Stores might call her a fool to run off with Frank to get married and that Miss Gavan would be glad she was gone.   Although she feared her father would become violent because of her marriage, she knew some others would respect her. She planned to explore a new life with Frank in his distant country home, Buenos Aires.   Frank seemed older than Eveline from the stories he had told of his experiences.   Eveline was acting upon impulse to escape.   The more experienced Frank "would save her.   He would give her life, perhaps love, too."   (Joyce 331).   Her mothers life of commonplace sacrifices closing in final craziness (Joyce 331) was reason enough for Evelines sudden need to marry Frank.     Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Eveline weighed questions of her decision up to the last minute.   She struggled with her feelings toward her known life.   As the time for her to leave with Frank approached, she realized that her current life was not all that bad.   Marriage would not be the answer to her dilemma.   She did not go with Frank.  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚     The people of Yellow Sky knew Sheriff Jack Potter had gone to San Antonio, but did not know why he went nor when he was coming back.   However, Potter had gone "to meet a girl he believed he loved, and there, after the usual prayers, had actually induced her to marry him, without consulting Yellow Sky for any part of the transaction."   (Crane 212).   Potter and his bride were older than the average newly weds during that time period.   They were self conscious because people in the parlor-car stared at them.   Potter began to feel a greater self consciousness about how his town of Yellow Sky would respond to his marriage.

A Christmas Carol Essay example -- English Literature

A Christmas Carol Stave 1: Scrooge’s character is established early in stave 1. Dickens shows his popularity by showing us his relationships with people in his surroundings. We can tell scrooge is unpopular as the narrator portrays him as a â€Å"Tight fisted hand at the grindstone.† Scrooges name give us a similarity between the word scrounge what is to be tight with money and every opportunity to make money, this automatically helps us launch an understanding that he is tight with his money, what is necessary to associate him as nasty old man. When the narrator is describing Scrooge he uses words that help us negotiate an opinion that Scrooge is an aggressive and is detested by person. It helps us find out that scrooge is a bitter, mean, twisted, moody and selfish old man. The narrator Charles Dickens builds the foundation of our understanding of our knowledge that he is despised by referring to him as â€Å"a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous old sinner† that helps us portray that scrooge is tight with his money. Dickens also tells us that he is â€Å"External heart and cold had little influence on scrooge† and also that scrooge says â€Å"no warmth, and no wintry winter cold chill scrooge.† In general scrooge is described to have poor relations with other people and literally he is a loner, but this is what he wants. Scrooge is known by people as a bitter old man, as when he walks down the street people avoid his wicked ways. In a way it as if scrooge wants to stay alone and he may enjoy being despised by others. Dickens goes on to mention how he was avoided on the street, â€Å"No beggars implored him to bestow a trifle† and that no one would dare give a greeting as they would only be ignor... ...d people are beginning to accept scrooge. Extension: The narratorial voice and Christian morality enrich the reading experience of â€Å"A Christmas Carol† by making the play more enthusiastic. On the first page of â€Å"A Christmas Carol† dickens narratorial voice comes across when he describes Marley as â€Å"dead as a door nail.† The Christian morality in this story helps us navigate a decision that Dickens is a very true Christian. The moral of this story is hidden in the depth of the story, the moral is to be kind hearted and to be generous. These shows to be weary of what can happen if you are not generous and that, you will be punished and will feel guilty if you persist on being the same. In the form of scrooge it shows us that you can be happy and the richest man in the world for helping people, maybe not in the form of money but in the form of happiness.

Did Climate Effect Human Evolution

These drastic transformations in the planet's atmosphere have been the impetus of evolution among species and has sparked interest to geologist and paleoanthropologist for years, resulting in a number of hypothesis that â€Å"propose that climate-driven environmental changes during the past 7 million years were esponsible for hominin speciation, the morphological shift to bipedality, enlarged cranial capacity, and behavioral adaptability' (Behrensmeyer 476). For this theory to be properly supported, the antecedent question that needs to be identified is, do species adapt to change?Naturalist and geologist, Charles Darwin, supported this idea, stating â€Å"that living things adapt toa place- a habitat† Ooyce 1). He expressed this theory through the idea that animals and various primates partake in the act of natural selection. In 1997, the National Science Foundation (NSF) supported Darwin's heory by gathering a research team together and running a serious of studies that dem onstrated â€Å"that animals can adapt to sudden changes in their environment with surprising speed† (Dybas, Chery 1). Researchers Frank Shaw and Ruth Shaw of the University of Minnesota, St. Paul, and F.Helen Rodd of the University of California used wild guppies from the West Indies island of Trinidad and found that â€Å"fish that were moved from a predator-infested pool to a pool with Just one predator grew larger, lived longer and produced fewer but larger offspring. In the span of seven to 8 generations–between four and 1 1 years–they became more like the native guppies in the relatively predator-free environment† (Dybas, Chery 1). Although studies such as the one above indicates that species do indeed adapt to different environments, there still lies the question of if climate and evolution correlate.Anthropologist Rick Potts challenged this question. For many years, Potts has been â€Å"pushing the idea that climate made us† and that  "habitats kept changing because climates kept changing† Ooyce 1). For scientist to gain more knowledge and research n this idea, they need to get a fuller climate history in places where human ancestors lived. Which, in this case, would be in East Africa. The pulsed climate variability hypothesis states that about every 20,000 years ago, â€Å"the region vacillated between very dry and very wet periods† (Ferro 1).These extreme changes may have played a vital role in driving human evolution and researchers like Rick Potts and Mark Maslin dig and gather sediments from East African lakes by drilling into lake bottoms and retrieving tubes of muck that contain millions of years of climate history; anging from â€Å"the fossils of the plant pollen and the organisms that lived in the lakes that respond to climate, to the chemistry of the sediments that also can give us very detailed information about changes in temperature and precipitation† Ooyce 1).By collecting these tubes of muck, scientists can compare climate timelines to the fossil records ot our ancestors to see now climate attected evolution. Mark Maslin, who mainly focused on the findings form an East African Rift Valley, compared all the lakes that were known to have existed in the East African area over the last 5 million ears with climate and human evolution records. Maslin findings were that events such as when humans first migrated out of East Africa, all happened during the wetter periods found on the climate records.Major events in human history, including when humans first started to migrate out of East Africa, happened during wetter periods. It was found that the appearance of early Homo erectus correlates to when a number of deep freshwater lakes appeared. In a press statement, Maslin explained that our ancestors â€Å"had to deal with rapid switching from famine to feast† and back again. This, he says, was what drove the evolution of new species with bigger brains, and later forced them to migrate out of East Africa, moving down toward South Africa and north to Europe and Asia† (Ferro 1).By having these freshwater lakes that create lush vegetation, early humans would have been practically forced to migrate for the search of food water. Evaluations on lake sediment made it clear that East African lakes did in fact play a major role in the explanation of why and when hominin species migrated out of East Africa but after much speculation, it seems as though â€Å"we may have to consider that climate was not lways the underlying cause and that intrinsic social factors and interspecies competition may have play a significant role† (Ferro 1).

Extradition and Deportation Views of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia-Herzegovina, formally known as Yugoslavia, has been addressing many pressing issues; however, extradition and deportation has been gaining large amounts of attention from Bosnia-Herzegovina’s government. Bosnia-Herzegovina’s government consists of a tripartite presidency which is divided mainly between Croatian, Serb, and Bosnian political parties. During World War II, the Kingdom of Yugoslavia resisted the Axis powers and were overrun. The attacking axis forces: Germany, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, and related regimes, Croatia and Serbia partitioned off the land. Soon after the partitioning, a civil war sprang up between the Yugoslav Partisans and the royalist Chetnik Movement. Not only did this war take place, but there was also genocide committed against the local Serbs, Jews and Roma while Chetniks began to chase the Bosniak and Croat population to perform an ethnic cleansing. With much support given by the U. S. S. R and the United States of America, the Yugoslav Partisans gained more and more power over the opposing forces. Italy and all of the other commanding countries gave up their hold on the partioned land to Germany. After the city of Berlin was captured by allied forces, Germany surrendered and the once axis controlled countries were released to the allied forces. The Federal People’s Republic of Yugoslavia assumed control after World War II. â€Å"This, what you are doing, is not good. This is the path that you want to take Bosnia and Herzegovina on, the same highway of hell and death that Slovenia and Croatia went on. Don't think that you won't take Bosnia and Herzegovina into hell, and the Muslim people maybe into extinction. Because the Muslim people cannot defend themselves if there is war here. Radovan Karadzic, leader of the Serb Democratic Party, said this after hearing talks of Bosnia-Herzegovina separating and gaining its’ independence from Yugoslavia. From 1991-1992, ethnic lines were being honed in for the country of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Bosniak factions had high tension between them and the two smaller factions, Serbs and Croats. This situation caused the parliament of Bosnia-Herzegovina to become fragmented and worthless. Croatia and Yugoslavia signed an armistice while being supervised by the United Nations. The Serb and Croat powers continued to negotiate over the partitioning of Bosnia-Herzegovina. While talks to keep Bosnia a part of Yugoslavia or totally succeeding continued, no agreement was reached. When the referendum had taken place to decide Bosnia-Herzegovina’s independence, an estimated 64-67% to 98% of the votes were for independence. Shortly after Bosnia-Herzegovina gained its’ independence the Bosnian War began. Post the 1992-1995 Bosnian War, there were many Islamic fighters left in Bosnia-Herzegovina which sided with Bosnians during the war. After nearly 15 years of trouble from these old allies, a harsh policy was unanimously accepted by both the Bosniaks, Bosnian Muslim politicians, and the population of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The population of Islamic fighters have become notorious for the fact that much crime and influence of the young Muslim people. A movement known as the Wahhabi movement, run by a fundamentalist group of Islam prevalent in Saudi Arabia, is continuing to grow more and more from help by these Islamic fighters. The Bosnian Islamic Community banned the Wahhabi movement in 1993 which took place during the war when moderate Muslims were being recruited by foreign fighters for their cause. Since the U. S. – led invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, Bosnia has seen a wide spread popularity in the Wahhabi movement. The Bosnian Islamic Community has done nothing since the ban in 1993; although, when the Wahhabis began attempting to take control of the Islamic Community’s administrative units and Mosques, the Muslim leaders were made to react. Mustafa Ceric, the grand mufti of Bosnia, began to take a message on a journey to many capitals of the world. This message entailed that the main leaders and financiers of the Bosnian Wahhabi movement were housed in Western Europe, mainly Austria. Ceric decried that action be taken by world leaders to insure that the radical Islamic groups did not populate Bosnia. This matter has been put off for some time because any attempt against this movement may sacrifice votes for politicians from the Bosniak nationalist vote. In 2006, pressure was put on the Bosnian government in which a commission was formed to review how nearly 1,500 people gained Bosnian citizenship, almost all fighters from different Muslim countries. Deportations were ordered for commencement shortly after. â€Å"Anyone should see that you sell this country piece by piece, Muslim by Muslim; you betray everything that can be betrayed †¦And be aware that Allah has the power and that you will face Him and answer for the betrayal of Islam and Muslims. † After the deportations were nearly in full-swing, a man only identified as Hattab27 said the aforementioned quote in a posted threat on you tube against Sulejman Tihic, Haris Silajdzic, and Grand Mufti. This threat entailed that if extradition and deportation were made against these brothers of the country, that a video would be released to destroy the three presidents politically. Due to the possibility of ill treatment of the deportees in their home country they could not be deported. Only two people were deported to their home countries, both last year. Bosnia-Herzegovina feels that strict deportation and extradition laws should be put in effect immediately. These laws would call for the immediate extradition of a person who has committed or who has been associated with a crime. If the said person cannot be extradited for being associated with a crime, then immediate deportation should take place. These crimes would be interpreted by the International Criminal Courts, if this court system cannot perform these duties for what ever reason then a new sub-committee should be erected to act upon these hearings. This court would be United Nations funded and any country that wishes to devote money to this cause is welcome. Although crimes vary from country to country, there should be a summit and amendment created. The amendment would compile a list of laws and regulations for extradition and deportation and the summits will be used to educate countries about the aforementioned amendment. If a country wishes to abide by the amendment then the laws and regulations will take effect immediately.
